I have used Modern Services for my AC maintenance and repairs since 2010, when I bought a Maytag unit from them. My overall experience with them has been average. Service quality is good but when it comes to doing business with them not sure they are very transparent. I will share a recent experience, my blower motor went out on a weekend and I got prompt service but when it comes to the financial transactions not sure I got the fair deal ( I subscribe to mod squad service which is in addional annual charge and when I got the price estimate I was told they don’t offer Mod squad anymore, I had to stress per my contract it’s still valid and I had paid for it, the gentleman on the phone honored the $50 rebate certificate) but I did not get advantage of the discounted service rate by the hour as they have switched to flat rate service.
