failed promise

We had booked an appointment with Jon Weixel based on our neighbors high recommendation. We were assured Jon would be here on Friday afternoon between noon and 4PM. We were very surprised when Alex showed up. Alex conducted the inspection and he seemed very competent but we were disappointed that the promise of Jon was not fulfilled.

Thank you for taking the time to review Champion AC. We appreciate the feedback and wanted to share some things that may help clear up what may be perceived as a "failed promise." Jon was out on a call prior to your appointment that day, but called our customer service team detailing his work, and stating that because of repair work he was doing for a customer before your appointment, he was going to run late. Rather than reschedule for another time (since Jon is in high demand, it would be a longer wait period than most), he recommended to send Alex, one of our most highly regarded techs, out to perform a tune up. We were under the impression that all was well, seeing that you called for an estimate to replace the system shortly after. We then sent Jon back to your home to go over replacement options, and made an appointment to install your system. We do apologize that Jon was not available, but we want to assure you that Jon wanted you in the most capable hands, if not his own.
