Aaron came to the house at the beginning of January '16 and looked at the unit for a short period of time and then started selling me on a new unit. I already knew I needed one so I was prepared for this. We bought the new system and then a few days later it was installed. This is when things with was fine to horrible. Roland and Aaron and another guy installed the heating and a/c units on January 6th - in the upstairs attic and the outside as well as two new thermostats. It was a cold day so the heat was on. However, later that evening the upstairs got to around 82-84 degrees and the downstairs was in the low 70's. I turned the a/c on to cool it off upstairs. The a/c never on and the heater remained on. I then went out to turn the breaker off to cut the heater off. Nothing happened. I called Aaron three times asking for a call back and to date - 2/1/2016 have not received a call back. I then called their afterhours dispatch and they were able to send Alex out. After looking at the system it came to my attention that just about every single wire on the heating unit, outside a/c unit, and thermostats were not in the correct slot. Alex spent about an hour trying to correct the issue. Also of issue is that we were told by a guy named Ross that because we bought the highest end unit but because of a rafter could not add the filter to the attic unit, we would get air filters delivered on January 6th or the 7th at the latest. Again it is now 2/1 and I am finished giving Champion the benefit of the doubt. We have not received the filters at this time. This has been a horrible experience with Champion A/C!!!
