I have been dealing with Champion for years now. I even referred my neighbors to them. Some time back they sent a tech to modify the drain system so it would be less likely to clog and so that the 2ndary drain would be more functional. Whatever he did appears to have completely disabled the sensors which monitor water levels in the overflow pan. The pan actually filled up and over flowed into my attic without shutting down the unit. We called for service, thinking that the $150/year we were paying for a service contract covered such things. When the tech got here, he had an attitude from the word go. He insinuated that all the problems were our fault and he was going to charge us $168 to clear the clog. Meanwhile I had standing water on the OSB decking where the AC unit sits. When I advised the tech that I could not find the water sensor (which I had used to confirm that water level was the issue several times before) he said I must not have looked very hard. His attitude stank and I would not testify under penalty of perjury that the person who I spoke with on the phone was significantly better. The tech abonded the job and when I tried to find out what was happening we had words and he took a swing at me. That I will testify to under penalty of perjury.

When it comes time to renew the service contract, I WILL NOT. Once my contract runs out I will go elsewhere for service. I supposed when I started recommending them to my neighbors they decided they had me in their hip pocket and no longer needed to take care of me.

Bottom line: This was the worst customer experience I have ever had with a merchant of any time in my life. Campion AC is the last company ON EARTH I would recommend anyone go to.
