I highly recommend any golfer no matter what your handicap to set up a time for a fitting at Club Champion.
I was so impressed by Dominick my fitting specialist.
The computer they use to show your shots, his overall knowledge about equipment.
You start with hitting your clubs and it is charted on the screen for you, he explains how important the shaft is.
He chose several shafts and iron heads for me to hit with. In the end the one he suggested I use was the one I found to be the most comfortable, AMAZING!
The we putted, he said my putter was fine but he adjusted the lie degree and I putted better.
I was impressed overall, but what I really liked was the fact he told me my 3 wood and my putter were fine-no need to purchase new ones.
Dominick also suggested that I didn't need a 60 degree wedge because of the 56, Gap and Pitch wedge he had set up for me. Next he said I did not need both the 3 & 4 hybrids suggesting I only purchase a new 4 hybrid.
In the end I wound up purchasing 10 clubs-and will only be suing 12 in my bag-YEA!
Cobra King Irons and 1 wedge, 1 Titleist wedge, Titleist driver, Callaway Hybrid and my own Taylor Made putter and Callaway 3 wood-
One last thing,
I went in with an open mind, not hung up on any brand and just wanted to improve my game.
In the end it all worked out for me.
I view getting fitted for clubs for golf is like getting fitted for a Tux, Suit, shoes, car, home you name it,
leave it to the professionals who know what the are doing, are not beholden to a brand specific company and just want whats best for you.
