I did an iron fitting at Club Champion and really enjoyed the experience. Super helpful to see all of the data behind my swing and the club performance on the big screen. It was very easy to understand how my current clubs perform and the impact of changes to the head, shaft and grips. Probably the most surprising impact was how a different grip affected shot dispersion. My fitter Mike was super knowledgeable and explained all of the data and the various equipment tweaks that we tried. I assumed that I was due for a equipment update since I was 10 years younger when I bought my current set and technology had moved forward 10 years. Current head design was noticeably more forgiving with tighter dispersion on same swing and more distance even when mis-hit. There was zero pressure to buy new clubs or change my existing clubs. I did end up making a purchase and Mike was helpful in ensuring I got a good deal on the clubs. Very fun and informative. Be prepared to have a good time and hit lots of $@!#%. Made about 110 swings during the 1.5 hour session.
