Middleton Heating & Air Inc. installed a Trane heating system two years ago. I recently had them come out because it has stopped working. It is still under warranty. They did not say what was wrong. The technician who came out spoke broken English and was a bit difficult to understand. So I called the office after he left and when I spoke to the receptionist and explained (after seeing his bill for what he thinks will be the replacement part) that I am still under warranty she simply said that is the price. They seem to not be following that I purchased the warranty with them when I purchased the unit from them. They said they were ordering a compressor but also said that may not be the problem, so they seem unsure. They said it will be $1,300 to fix this. No one seems to be able to answer why they are putting a charge to this when it should be covered under the warranty. To top it off, it has now been a week and I have heard nothing from them. I have received no updates about when the part will be in or when they will be out to repair it or any information about the warranty. This whole process has been a bit frustrating with Middleton Heating & Air Inc.
