Initially wanting just irons, I decided to go ahead and get a Full Bag Fitting, which is my first fitting ever.
Starting with irons, I expected to walk out with something that would just 'feel better', and probably slight improvement. I was WAY wrong. Ryan educated me on shaft selection and we ended up getting a shaft/head that substantially improved my shot grouping on Trackman.
Moving to the driver, we went through some combinations, and although there was some improvement, I didn't see the same results as the irons. This may be either my swing, or the fact that I just swung the 6i about 100 times within the last 60 minutes.
Fairway woods and putter saw minimal improvement, and it was great to hear Ryan say "That club is perfect for you. There is nothing we could build to fit you better."
Overall, I was blown away by the experience and although I only ended up buying irons, the Full Fitting gave me confidence in the rest of my clubs. The only recommendation that I have is maybe split the fitting between 2 days. 200ish swings over 3 hours makes it hard to maintain consistency, which is necessary when you are investing in good equipment.
