Before we got started, we had a conversation on the details of my golf experience and what I wanted to accomplish. He knew I was clearly a novice golfer who just began last summer (2019). My fitter was kind and courteous and allowed me to try the things I requested. He was definitely knowledgeable in the golf expertise. Having said that, during my fitting experience the fitter lacked providing me with information on the different details of shaft flex, length, lie, etc. along the way. I found myself swinging clubs without the knowledge of why/what I was swinging. I had to ask on multiple occasions the specifics of the club - and that made my experience not very reassuring. I would have liked more communication and interaction from my fitter. Although my golf swing needs improvement, I definitely don't think I'm the worst that has ever walked through the doors. And maybe because of my novice skills, I felt I was not given the amount of direct involvement Club Champion claims to be so reputable on. I just felt that I walked away from my experience without the absolute confidence of, "this club with these specifics is exactly what I need for my swing", and ultimately, isn't that why anyone would schedule a fitting?
