Real Plumbers

Not Satisfied

This was my fifth time using Real Plumbers, and the third time they had come out for the same problem. It started after they installed my new furnace and re-routed the drainpipe to connect with the pipe for the hot water heater. It is constantly overflowing and causing a leak into the basement. They replaced the resistor for the furnace, but I do not know if it will do the trick. I also don't understand the billing. I have two on my computer with different amounts totaling more than four hundred dollars. The techs were all nice, and I had no problems asking them questions or anything, but I feel like they should be a bit lenient on the repair bill if they keep having to come out for the same thing. Other than this everything else with the furnace is running smoothly. But if the same thing keeps coming back I might have to go with another service company because I shouldn't be paying for the same problem they can't seem to fix.

James,

Thank you for letting us know there was a problem. We need to know if there are any problems, and we will do our best to correct them.

After reviewing our records, it looks like we installed your Furnace 5 years ago, and since, you have had us out for several plumbing and HVAC Service Calls and Maintenance Inspections.

I only see 2 visits this year - July 8th and July 9th, with total charges of $324.00. In 2015, we replaced the fan capacitor on the fan motor (unfortunately, at this time, the warranty is expired from the original installation in 2015).

I do agree with you, the capacitor should be a 'Normal Truck Stock" item for us, and our tech did not have one on his truck on your first visit on July 8th. Per our Service Policy, we charged you a Service Call fee of $89.00 on the initial visit, and I agree that we should not have charged for this visit because we had to return on July 9th, and replace the capacitor, which we also charged for.

We have since issued a credit of $89.00 back to your credit card. I hope this resolves this situation. Please feel free to contact me directly if you have any other problems or issues.

Thank you,
Dave Warner, Owner
