A total disaster
This was my worst experience ever with a plumbing company. It is even more disappointing because I have an annual service agreement with Real Plumbers signed last year so I am a customer they would expect to return to them. I don't know what has happened to cause the dramatic fall in both competence and basic business administration, but I will never use this company again and will inform the other owners of my 216-unit condo association about their terrible service. Real Plumbers came to look at a water filter that wasn't functioning properly. The plumber had difficulty diagnosing a problem and spent much of the time on the phone with a supervisor. They finally recommended I replace a part and had me pay $200 up front to order it, and said it would be available for installation in 7-10 days. After that I never heard another word from the company. When I called back after a month, they initially couldn't even find the record of the service visit at all. Then they discovered they had me listed under separate accounts, and no action had been taken to order the part. I was assured they would follow up directly to merge the accounts and order the part. They never did. Again after a couple of weeks I contacted them and again they had difficulty finding the record and noted nothing had been done to order the part. We finally scheduled an appointment to install the new part, and I was promised I would be the first call of the day. Instead the plumber showed up at 11 am and had a completely incorrect part with him. It wasn't even close to what was ordered/needed and no work was done. After he left I called Real Plumbers and asked for them to return my money and to cancel my service agreement with them. I will not use this company ever again. I would give them zero stars if that was an option.
