I priced my cabinets up in Canada where they were $25k for the most basic Masterbrand cabinets I could get. Nothing fancy, no superior finishes, stand old spec-house dark expresso finish on a bunch of boring base box cabinets made of melamine and some equally bland uppers.

I wanted beautiful cabinets. I wanted the premium finishes, I wanted the specialty cabinets with stand mixer lifts and pull-out spice racks, and tiered cutlery drawers. I wanted solid wood shelving and beautiful seeded glass doors. When I had them priced here, I was looking at $55k for this quality and level of finish.

So I went to Kitchensforless.com, which I had accidently stumbled up a year earlier when I first started planning my new home. I spec'd out the kitchen, and with the help of Victoria Torres, was able to perfect it. The final total...about $14k. It's REALLY nerve wracking to sign off on that much money to a foreign company half a continent away (remember, I was residing in Canada), but I couldn't pass up the savings.

It was right at the end of November, but sure enough, even with Christmas my cabinets were ready in about 3 weeks! They delivered them on just after Christmas, and when I opened the boxes up (wow are they ever well packed), everything was perfect AND they were stunning! Solid wood, all the bells and whistles, and worth far more then I paid! At least here!

Would not hesitate to buy from them again, and I'm just waiting to order cabinets for my bathrooms, drybar and laundry room! Just a stellar company and the price can't be beat. Very quick to reply to all my questions and concerns too! Just fabulous (far better then the local companies that either took forever to send back a quote, or wouldn't listen to anything I wanted, instead determined to sell me what THEY wanted to sell. Kitchensforless.com and Victoria just made my kitchen exactly what I wanted!
