Our new home theater
Our home theater system was installed this past Friday, Sept 18. Brian and his team put together a home theater that was within our budget. Brian did a great job of communicating the status of the pieces of equipment and assured our installation would take place on the agreed upon date. A couple of snags, actually to our benefit, equipment wise, took place but again, Brian did a great job of communicating what was going on with our theater package.
So we went with the following and absolutely love everything, with one small exception.
Denon AVR 1910, Fantastic AV receiver
Dragonfly 110" high contrast motorized screen, for our room, this is a great screen.
Klipsch speakers all around, all I can say is WOW. Those speakers are so responsive and clear and powerful, amazing speakers.
Lastly, the projector. We ordered the Epson 6100, Epson discontinued that model with their latest new product convention, Brian and I discussed and we are going to go with the Epson 8100, which is actually a few hundred cheaper, but a lot better than the previous model. contrast ratio doubled, lumens stayed the same, couple other things. Brian has provided a loner, which is not 1080, it's 720 but what is so surprising is how clear and sharp the image is on the screen. Can't wait for the new one!!!
Installation took about 7 hours, the installer was very profession as well, he knows the equipment and was able to answer many question I had regarding the equipment.
After the installation, he programmed the remote and explained how to use it, very intuitive and easy and... works so seamless with the equipment, one button, the screen comes down, receiver turns on we are on our way to watching movies.
Thanks Theater Xtreme, we love our new home theater.
