I called J's because their info was on the system of a home I recently purchased. While they were quick to respond and make the service call, the price was highway robbery. Before even checking my system or trying to fix the issue, the first thing they tried to do was sell me a maintenance plan at $2,000 a year, ridiculous. Then the $500 to add a little coolant in a system was way out line. While my home has dual systems that $500 only covered one. After some back forth they on the second system it was decided that "maybe the coil in the air handling system was bad or it could be the compressor" Then I was quoted from $2,300 to $4,500 do the same repair of the inside coil, depending on how good of a repair or warranty of their work you wanted. But they weren't sure that was the problem, then tried to convince me that I needed a whole new system. After they robbed on the cost of those lack of repairs I was happy to see them go. I did get another company to come and fix my system for less than $300 that didn't try to up sell me on a maintenance plan or some crazy 4 tier nonsense repair plan. My suggestion keep shopping they have a terrible business model.
