Through the years, we have used numerous companies for home furnace inspection & cleaning services, hoping to find a proficient, reliable company, who puts the customer first, before their bottom line. We were always told promises of excellent service, but received basic, mediocre inspection services, no matter what we paid for such service... the "get in-get out" mentality. Thus, we were expecting the same routine when we called IMS.

We have been in this home just a few years now & had our annual furnace inspection done today in Colorado Springs by your IMS service technician, Gary.
Not being your average homeowner, I happen to have a 30+ year electrical/electronics service background, so I was basically familiar as to what he was doing with his instruments on the furnace, and would ask questions when I wasn't sure. Gary answered every question professionally. He performed a THOROUGH inspection, and did pressure checks, amp checks, etc... things that had not been done by previous contractors in years past. He even operated the furnace in a more sensible manner than previous contractors. The most impressive part of the service call was when I told him of having lower, than what I thought was normal, air flow through out the home floor registers. Gary looked at the existing system & saw that the furnace blower was rated lower than what it should have been for the home, and that the duct installation work seemed to be restrictive (something the installing contractor probably should have not done), with the previous homeowner. Never once did any other previous service contractors ever take the time to examine the system, when I would mention the possibly of low air flow. Although the cost of resolving the issue is currently beyond the scope of our budget, I did appreciate his input.

It was refreshing to do such a positive review, because this type of service should be the norm, not the exception. In today's world people to too quick to criticize & complain, but rarely take thetime to complement... maybe because good service is expected. I was very impressed with IMS, from the Colorado Springs office staff taking my calls, to technician Gary, who displayed outstanding professionalism & courtesy to the customer. In situations like this one today, I wish I could have given more than 5 stars! Thank you.
