Corley Plumbing Air Electric

I have several more pages of issues that has happen that I could add. Overall this has been a bad experience for my family not to mention all the lost time I lost with repair people. The inspector was a little shocked when he arrived. I would of loved to give this company a great review. Maybe this will not happen with other customers. I did get a $50.00 dinner gift certificate..

Mr. Corley,
In June of 2015 we decided to replace our 33 year old Geothermal Unit heat and air-conditioning unit because we did not want to wait before the system went out. I went on the Better Business & Angie list website and I carefully selected several different companies to come out to give me an estimate. With that being said, Randall Rainey came to our house and represented your company in a very tremendous way. Randall told me that we would receive the best service possible. It is a Corley promise.
After evaluating the different companies, Corley seemed to stand out as the strongest. However the quote was the most expensive that we had received. There were several different things that stood out with Corley: The business started in 1986, and no major complaints. They sale Train and service it as well. We will receive the best service possible – it is Corley’s promise.
Randall Rainey did a great job of representing your company, you should be extremely proud to have a man like him working for Corley.
My wife and I decided to purchase our heating and air unit from Corley on 6/26/15 and join the Corley family. We had not problems with our unit until June 2016.
In November 2015 I got a call from Corley wanting to set up an appointment to check the heating system out to make sure it was working property. We thought that was great, in the past we had to call to set everything up ourselves.
On 6/22/16 Corley came out to service both my units. (Jared Acker), (I had purchased the Corley service plan)
Late 6/25/16 Saturday evening, a few days after both units were serviced, we noticed our house was warm and our new unit was blowing out warm air.
Monday 6/27/16 I called Corley customer service and they sent a service tech out that afternoon. After checking the system the service techs realize that the breaker was tripped. He reset the breaker and checked the system and everything appeared to be in good working order. The service guy and I went under the house and I saw the well water line had been cut and not capped off like it should have been. (We had a Geothermal Unit) and the ball valve was leaking also. After a thorough investigation I then realized the well pump had been shut off since the old unit had been removed. We use this water for other sources. I have had three surgeries since the unit had been installed. I was unable to go under the house, and I had no knowledge of any of this poor workmanship.
Thursday 6/29/ 16 the breaker tripped again. 6/30/16 I called Corley customer service and reported it. Corley sent out a service tech that afternoon and changed the breaker.
Monday 7/11/16 the breaker tripped again sometime during the day, when we returned home late that afternoon we notice the house was very hot.
Tuesday 7/12/I6 I called customer service (Joe). He said that he would get Joe the service manager or someone would call me right back. (This did not happen). 7/13/16 I called Corley back and asked for Christopher Corley to call me back. Customer service said Mr. Corley was out in the field and when he returns he will return my call. I am not happy with Corley at this time because the service plan states that there is a 4 Hour Guaranteed Response Time. I want to believe that this company is better than this. 7/14/16 I went on the website and sent two different messages before Mr. Corley called me back. After speaking with him, I felt assured that everything would be taken care of. After all that, the breaker tripped again and I called customer service and the service manager and service man came out and checked all the connections and Joe stated he would get an electrician to come out to change the breaker and put a surge protector on the new unit. I explained my concerns, that we were going on vacation the next day and I was very concerned that the new unit would trip the breaker again and my house could burn down because the source of the breaker tripping was not identified yet. Joe said he would send a service tech to check on it. When we returned home a week later we walked in our house and the breaker was tripped again. I called Joe to let him know.
7/26/16 my 28 year old heating & air unit on my bonus room had stopped cool air. I call Corley and a service tech came out. The service tech checked the unit and said the unit was basically too old to put a lot of money in the unit.
7/27/16 Randall Rainey came out at 4:00 pm and I filled him in on everything that was going on. He was very concerned also. He said they would sell me a new unit at cost. I am concerned about the many issues and people dropping the ball with my family. I have not done any reviews yet on this company. I still believe that this company is better than this.
Now, I have a question for you Mr. Corley:
1. Corley’s Promise; we will receive the best service possible? Did not happen
2. 4 Hour Guaranteed Response Time? Missed this by two days, I had to Call back.
3. What are you going to do about my new unit? Finally completed the first new unit.
4. I need my bonus room heating & air replaced. I decided to give Corley’s another try.
5. Do I need to get another HVAC company? I should have!

Respectfully,
Tony Pruitt

Chris,
Thank you Kindly for checking in yourself I really appreciate that, however I can a sure you these issues have not been resolved. I feel this problem could possibly put my family in harm’s way. It has been a very slow working progress. My new unit still keeps tripping the breaker and no one at your company can tell me why. My family and I was going on vacation and I expressed concern to Joe, he assured me that someone would come out to my house and keep a check on my AC unit. When we returned home Sunday a week later our AC unit had tripped and the house was very hot. The fan (blower) on the unit was blowing warm air. I spoke with Joe and he said he did come out on Monday. I am very glad my house is still standing.
On top of everything else my other AC unit that heat/cooled my bonus room stopped cooling last week. I called it in and the technician checked the AC unit and it was basically too old to repair. (28 year old 1 ½ ton train) To make a long story short, Randall emailed me a quote which was the 1st quote was entirely too high price. I pulled other companies from the better business bureau website and Angie list. I selected businesses that have been around for a long time with a good tract record. I have over 5 quotes cheaper from other businesses with very good rating. I did the same thing when I purchased my last unit from Corley’s, you were the highest price but I really thought I was getting a quality company. After everything my family has been through I really thought this price would have been better. During Randall visit he said they would sell me a unit at cost. After getting the first quote I kindly called Randall up and told him I was insulted. He has come back with a little more reasonable price. At the end of the day I’m not sure I want Corley anymore because of broken guarantees. I have left two messages at Corley’s for you to call me in the past but I am not sure you even got the messages. I haven’t done any review on Corley’s yet, as of right now it would not be very good.

Kind Regards,

Tony Pruitt
