We made an appt for quote Thur, plumber came out and conducted inspection, measurements, and explained all work to be completed. We reviewed quote and agreed to removal and install of new water heater, appt made next day-Friday to conduct agreed quote. Plumber showed up Friday afternoon to conduct work, removed old water heater, started to install pan and it would not fit. Measurements were done Thurs but forgot to measure pan (not professional). Made a call for measurements of a talller water heater and pan to confirm fit. Stated could not finish job until Tues as already to late to go and pick up talller water heater. We the customer would be without hot water for 4-days, but would be required to pay an additional $249 (above the agreed quote) for another visit to complete job Tues. Again not professional as this was not our error, it is St. Matthew Plumbing's error as they are supposed to be professional plumbers. We will see the outcome Tues and hopefully a refund for the additional $249 payment to complete the job. Only thing I can say is they are reliable in showing up.
