Rustigian Rugs is very knowledgeable about oriental rugs and counseled me into not cleaning an antique silk rug that had signs of wear for fear that the colors would run. They also suggested hanging it rather than placing it on the floor in order to preserve it. They did accept another rug of mine for cleaning, and it got cleaned perfectly. I appreciated them saying "no" to the silk rug that showed that their interests are in the best interests of the rugs!
