My kitchen drain was clogged and after several attempts to unclog it myself during the week, I decided I needed a professional. I called Ben Franklen and they sent a plumber out. They provided the cost of the service fee over the phone, but wouldn't give an estimate on the cost to snake. Once he arrived, I found out the cost would be $299 plus tax, on top of the $69 service fee, to snake the kitchen drain. I declined. The plumber was very professional and courteous, but the price was ridiculous. I found a different plumber who did it for less than half that.
