The technician from Stewart Heating Plumbing Air Conditioning was very nice and I have no issue with him but we brought Stewart in to do diagnostic work and any needed repairs to sell our house. From the start, nobody mentioned that a permit would be required, and they told me that a permit wasn't required. Then after the job was done, they emailed me to say a permit was required in addition to Title 24 testing and a city inspection. By now we were in the middle of selling our house and had to get these things done immediately. The Title 24 testing showed missing locking caps which could have jeopardized the sale of our house. Stewart came back to fix the job but there was no acknowledgment or apology or attempts to make things right financially. At this point, we had spent fourteen thousand dollars and were fairly furious about how it all went.
