This was the first time I ever used Finan Home Service Ltd., and it was a fairly large job. I completely gutted a house, and added an addition. I retained Finan's to completely rewire the house, install all new plumbing, and install new heating and air conditioning systems. Overall, I think they did a professional job. I was there and watched them pressure testing the pipes, for example.

That being said, I do believe there were some communication issues. First, they originally estimated that it would take two weeks to complete the job. But, it ended up taking three and a half to four weeks. It was freezing cold during this period, so the weather may have had some impact on that. I noticed on some days that one electrician would show up, and on another day three electricians would show up. I feel like if Finan's had committed more people each day, then the job would have been finished within the estimated time. But, I am not positive about that, because there was a lack of communication. I wish they would have stayed in better contact with me, then I could better assess the reasons for the delays. It may have been unavoidable on their part, or just the way the different phases of the job played out. Where on one day, you only need one electrician, while on another day, you need all three. Whichever, better communication was certainly needed.

I also had some issues with the inspectors rejecting some of the work as not up to code. But, Finan Home Service Ltd. did address those issues, and from my personal observations, I did not notice any substandard work going on. They seemed to be doing the job right. Everything they did, or installed, seems to be working fine.

Now, all that being said, I did give Finan Home Service Ltd. five stars on my willingness to recommend them to others, and five stars on the overall experience. They did a good, but I just wish they had given me more input throughout the job about what was going on. You know, stayed in touch with me better.
