Air Professional Associates, LLC installed my air conditioner about three years ago and the installation went well. They've been maintaining it every year since then. Soon after the service technician left this year, I had a problem with the unit. I had to call for service on a weekend and was charged four hundred dollars to fix what turned out to be two wires touching. I wanted to know why this happened so soon after the service call and phoned the office the following week. I left five or six messages for the manager. Even the receptionist started sounding embarrassed he hadn't returned my call. Finally, he called on a Saturday and I missed it. I called back another three or four times. By now, at least a month or more had gone by and the manager had plenty of time to think up an excuse about why this happened. But when we finally spoke, all he could say was that sometimes things like this happen, maybe due to the vibrations of the unit. Well, the unit sits mounted in the wall and doesn't go anywhere, so vibrations sounded unlikely to me. Especially since I was in the construction business myself for twenty-five years. Air Professional Associates, LLC did nothing more to explain it to me nor did they accept fault of any kind. In this business, a service is only as good as its crew. Air Professional Associates, LLC was good until this year. Next year, I plan to call around to other companies and not just give carte blanche to Air Professional Associates, LLC.
