We had to have upstairs system replaced due to mechanical failure and decided to call Bradley Mechanical for an estimate. Jason came and did several things that had never been done, by other companies, before replacing units. Jason did a load calculation to determine correct size of unit, actually looked at the duct work in the attic and made recommendations to make unit more efficient and made suggestions of things we could do to cut down on amount of cold air coming in from attic and crawl spaces over the garage. He also listened to our concerns. We eventually decided to replace all the antiquated duct work in the attic. We know now that the ducts are clean, the temperature is more even upstairs and the filtration system they added has cut down on the amount of dust.
Rusty and Gerber, installers, were very professional and worked nonstop to get duct system replaced and unit installed. They never hesitated to take time to answer any questions I had and asked to make sure we were on same page before they made any major changes. Rusty even came by the first day, on his way home from work, to bring a couple of electric space heaters for us to use.
Even though we didn't have anything replaced downstairs, Jason and Darryl checked for major air leakage and made suggestions for things WE could do to make system more efficient.
Jason didn't come in sell us a system never to be seen again. He came several times during installation to make sure things were going smoothly and according to plans. They installed an iComfort thermostat and Jason took time to actually show we how to program it. He is also great about answering emails or calls if any concerns/questions come up.
Would I recommend Bradley Mechanical or use them again? You bet. They will be coming back soon to seal our skylights, a major source of air leakage, and make a couple of major corrections to duct work for downstairs unit.
