Excellent response and install time.

My wife and I are extremely satisfied with Family Air from the on-site inspection that was performed on July 4th to the detailed proposal we received the following day to the installation of a new air handler and condensing unit.
Since the former 31 year old air handler wasn’t adaptable to the new system, a new air handler had to be located above the garage ceiling which was no easy task considering the construction of this track-built house.
The install crew, working under grueling temperatures in that attic space, performed amazingly. There were a few setbacks but the crew overcame those obstacles and persevered, providing us with cool air at the end of their long hot day.
During the install, I noticed on several occasions that a couple of service techs not involved with the install had stopped by to see if the crew needed any help. I find that quite amazing and refreshing. It speaks volumes about the work ethic and atmosphere of that business that everyone works together.
I realize that July isn’t the greatest time of the year for any air conditioning system to fail, but with a few temporary units, we could survive for a while since our unit failed on the evening of 7/. Jonathan from Family Air didn’t take advantage of us but gave us a great proposal the following day. We had two other on-site inspections done prior to his visit and I had to request those proposals several days post Family Air’s proposal.
Family Air got our business because of their response time and comprehensive proposal and pricing. It’s with full disclosure that I should mention that the first business I called arrived at the house within several hours and the tech tried very hard to resuscitate the condensing unit but to no avail. I’ll give them points for that but it would have been nice if they followed-up with a decent proposal without me asking for one. When I did receive it, I was a bit disappointed as it lacked any specifics other than a brand name of the replacement unit. The second proposal wasn’t much different.
Kathleen and I are very satisfied with our experience with Family Air and hope that other homeowners will consider them also when seeking proposals.
