Requested eqoute, verified by phone : they put on wrong tires!!
I requested & received 2 email quotes from Jack Fourier's. I talked to them in the AM to set up a time (2PM) and specific tires and location near me. They would have to ship them from the another store, hence the 2pm appt. I showed at 1:30, and they had no idea who I was.
After several phone calls and scrambling, , they said they're get the tires shipped over right away. I left my key & went for an 1.5hr coffee break. I found they had put the more expensive tires from the quote I turned down, but had on hand at that location. The person I interfaced with there was already gone. My only option was to drive to the 22nd store and have them swap them, and waste another few hours. I told them they'd lost a customer for life, as they had done something similar 2 years ago, and got to see rolled eyes from other people behind the desk. You think they do this often?
I probably got a OK deal on the tires I did buy, but ended up paying more than I wanted, and they screwed up. They also failed to put my spare (which I was driving on) back in the car. I had to check and get it before I left.
