I've only worked with Hughes Air Conditioning and Heating Repair, once, and have very little experience with air conditioners and AC companies, outside of the experience. I hired Hughes AC to fix my air conditioner, and it took two trips (and two separate bills) before the problem was solved. Everyone I interacted with was polite and professional, and I appreciated that the technicians seemed competent, and that it was a comfortable experience, while they were in my home. The second visit's necessity, though, was an unwelcome surprise, and the second bill left me feeling a bit overwhelmed. They seemed honest and fair, as a company, and I don't know enough about air conditioners to say whether or not all the work that I was charged for was entirely legitimate, but the double-visit/double-bill thing definitely made the experience imperfect. I'm happy to report that the unit's been working quite well, since then, and I think I'd hesitantly recommend them, but maybe with encouragement to get a second opinion and price comparison, as I wish I'd done.
