PlumbPros Plumbing

Sold me $2557 unnecessary work and didn't fix the original issue!

I had an inground water leak. Plumber said he could "try" to fix the leak for $1300-$1400 with no guarantee or fix the leak by replacing entire water supply line for $2500 with a 10-year warranty. I chose the option to fix the leak and have a 10-year warranty. Plumber installed the new water line but refused to re-connect my inground sprinkler he “capped” during the install. Connection was 6" away from new line. Plumber placed a PVC cap on the irrigation pipe thus disabling my sprinkler system. I asked him to reconnect sprinkler which he refused saying his "license didn't allow him to touch irrigation/sprinkler line". (Discovered later this was a lie.) He said I had to hire a "sprinkler company" to reconnect it.

This paragraph is all hindsight "after I paid $2557". Plumbpro failed to get required permit from county. New line was buried 4" - 5" in many places (code is 12") and didn’t install several valves, County inspector contacted Plumbpros regarding lack of permit. Plumbpros got the permit but had to re-work everything, bury the line properly and add some required valves not originally installed. Finally the work passed county inspection.

Sprinkler company cost an additional $800 to repair cut/damaged sprinkler lines caused by installing new water line and reconnect sprinkler to main water line. I learned original leak was $3 PVC fitting that had cracked on the sprinkler section of entire water system. I have pictures/proof of everything. Plumbpros sold me $2557 of unnecessary work and I had to pay someone else (sprinkler compant to fix the original problem! Plumbpros sent me a refund check for $450 to cover not re-connecting sprinkler system. Complaint has been filed with State.

I completed an Angie's List review with photos, etc. but it mysteriously disappeared.

Feel free to contact me for the photos and proof of my experience.
