I called Plumbing Pro’s doing a google search in the area. The lady that answered the phone was so nice and knowledgeable and gave me a appointment for the very next day. So I was feeling good about it. The tech call me and said that he was on his way and what time he would be here. Still feeling good. He arrived and I showed him what the problem was and we talk about my father recently passing away so I asked him to excuse the mess. I showed him the problem and he start talking a million miles an hour. He said that I had 3 problems instead off the one. Then he started his sales tactic!!! He said that the unit was so old, which it’s not that he may not be able to get the parts. So I ask him how much it would cost me to fix, he said if he could get the parts that it would be one price. I told him that that sounded a little high and that I need to discuss it with my husband. He immediately started to attack me saying, if I wanted to shop his price then that’s my business but this was a Christian base company and I’m not going to find it lower. Then he tries to aggressively scare me, telling me that my house might flood at night while I’m sleeping. I told him if he couldn’t get the parts then there no point in us even moving any further. So he said it was too late in the day to call the warehouse and that he would call them first thing the next morning and let me know, so that I can discuss it with my husband. Next morning I get a text, I bought the part and I am on my way!! I said wait!!! That wasn’t the plan!! I need to discuss this price with my husband!!! He got so upset and he said, well I’m glad that you didn’t take that price cause I would be cheating myself out of money, I have to go up on the price. Now on the quote and website they state that the quoted price is good for 3 days!! So now I’m $@!#% and I call him on his bull….. then he goes on to say how I have wasted his time and he had another appointment and cancel for me and had to go all the way on the other side of town and he’ll just take the parts back and the price will just keep going up!! I had to pay them to come out the first time, so I called another company and it was not what he said, this company had the part in the car and I saved $900 that this guy said it was!!! I know times are hard for everybody but trying to take advantage of people is low!!!! If I could give it negative stars I would!!!
