When I called PlumbPros for the first time it was for a clogged kitchen sink in one of my rental houses. The pressure of the rout blasted through the old cast iron pipe attached to the plastic sink drain, requiring a replacement of the entire pipe with PVC. So, in addition to the cost of the unclogging, I had to absorb the several thousand dollar cost of replacement piping. I'm not a plumber, so I'm not sure if this could have been avoided or was inevitable, given the age of the old pipes. The guys from PlumbPros made the best of a bad situation and did a good job, cleaning up pretty well after themselves. However, I don't know if I got a competitive price since I didn't have the opportunity to shop around. I have to just chalk it up to a cost of doing business and trust that the plumbers did what had to be done at a reasonable price.
