Lied to by the cust service rep.
I called to make an appointment to repair a gas heater. The cust service rep asked what brand unit and I said it was a Goldman and It is still under warranty. I was told the service rep would take care of all that was needed for the warranty. When the service rep arrived I was told that pipe works is NOT a Goodman dealer so they could do nothing on my warranty. So now my choice is 1: look for a Goodman rep and have to pay the pipe works rep the $99.00 show up fee and have no heat. 2: have the pipe works rep do the work, and that is what I did and he replaced the fan at a cost of over $1000,00. So due to being lied to by the cust service rep, a repair that was under warranty cost me $1000.00. Would you be happy with this?
