I needed an evaluation of leaking old dishwasher. I was told they may need to pull it out the DW to evaluate with service charge $59.00, great ! 2 men came, took a small panel off the bottom, turned the washer on, saw leaking with flashlight under the washer. No need to pull washer out, leak was obvious with flashlight. Took all of 8 minutes. Paid the $59 plus tax. OK, I told them I would be buying new DW and they said they could install new one if I needed it. I asked for an estimate for installation. I was speechless when they told me verbally the price, I was sure I misheard heard them. I did not, they sent me the written estimate of $794 with tax $846.60 ! I went to 3 appliance stores today ALL estimated $125 to maybe max $175 not knowing exact needs. Perhaps they thought they were also supplying the dishwasher too ! The new DW is not costing $846. I have used PW in the past with much satisfaction. I have referred them to family and friends in the past.
