His goal isn't just to sell you something. His goal is make sure that your clubs are performing as best they can for YOU and YOUR swing. He won't fit you into clubs that don't show a demonstrable improvement. For example, I was getting my entire bag fit and when I hit my wood and hybrids, he told me to put them back in my bag saying, "Those are perfect for you. We can't improve on those numbers.
