I brought in for cleaning a nice vintage wool persian rug that I had purchased from a local dealer a few years ago, and that smelled musty due to having been stored in the basement during a recent renovation. Unfortunately the cleaning decolorized the rug in one area and caused the dye to run in other areas. Brad at Greenspring immediately offered $ to replace the rug and refund the cleaning, despite what we both surmised - ie. a previous owner had probably dyed the rug and failed to disclose it. Cannot speak highly enough of the ethics of this company - making good on a problem that was probably not their fault. - it’s hard to find this level of service anywhere, and I highly recommend them as its obvious this company will treat you right.
