Overall, the service I received from DFW Pipe & Plumbing warrants five stars. My problem happened on a Saturday night and I called DFW. Someone came out the next day, Sunday. I showed him the problem and he gave me an estimate of seventeen hundred dollars to fix it. DFW had done similar work for me two years ago and charged me nineteen hundred dollars for a job that took nine hours before the water was turned back on. The plumbers did a good job then which is why I called DFW this time. Again, the plumbers did a great job but the whole repair took just forty-five minutes and they still wanted to charge seventeen hundred dollars. I called the office and spoke to Patrick. He agreed to come down in price to about twelve hundred fifty for the forty-five minutes' worth of work. I completely understand that if the job had taken longer than estimated, the price would be higher, but they only gave me a small price break for a much shorter job. Even though they did fantastic work two years ago and fantastic work again this week, I'm a bit miffed at the price. Since then, another problem has cropped up with the plumbing but I am reluctant to call DFW again. I may just patch it up myself or call another plumbing company. I recommend DFW Pipe & Plumbing for service and quality, but they can be expensive.
