We recently had DFW Pipe & Plumbing come out to do some work for us based on a warranty issue. I own a Rinnai tankless hot water heater and the company told me who I should use. DFW Pipe & Plumbing came in as their top service people. When I called them they were very slow to respond. They were busy and very hard to reach. Apparently, they do not have enough help. Eventually, they sent out technicians who found all that they could that was wrong with it but still could not resolve the problem. Their techs called Rinnai and worked with them over the phone to see if they could fix it. But again, they never did get to the bottom of what the problem was in order to make the proper repairs. I wound up having to call the manufacturer directly and they had to send another company out to my residence to handle the problem. The second company switched out the water heater and sent it to Rinnai directly to make the repairs. We had a loaner for the time being. Once the manufacturer made the repairs they sent it back to us and the second company came back to switch the water heaters out again. Supposedly, DFW Pipe & Plumbing was the more qualified company but they were not the ones who were able to make the necessary repairs or finish up the work for us under the warranty. I am sure they are a decent company and aside from this matter, I would recommend them.
