We were having problems with the furnace, and I thought it might be the thermostat because I would lower the temperature at night and then it just wouldn't come on the next day. I called Flanders Heating & Air Conditioning to come and service the unit. They are very responsive, especially in an emergency. They will come the same day you call if they can. When the technicians arrived, they told me it was the igniter and the flame starter. Both were failing and the gas furnace wasn't kicking on. The technicians were very courteous and cordial, and they put little booties on to protect my floors. They were very knowledgeable, and they took the time to explain what was going on. They told us the cost and what was necessary. They ordered the parts and then they installed them. We had another company before Flanders and they weren't taking care of the unit. It's been about eight years since we started using Flanders Heating & Air Conditioning, and I would highly recommend them to others.
