I'm a high handicapper and wanted to improve my game. Friends told me to trade up from my 24 year old clubs and get fitted rather than buying off the rack.
The process went faster than expected and I felt very comfortable with the recommendations. I can't count how may shaft and club head variations I tried, but the data was right there on the screen to show you the results based on your swing.
George also gave me some input regarding my angle of attack and the impact on ball flight and distance.
I've played three rounds with them so far and have spent a few hours on the range. It took a couple of sessions to get used to them, but I am extremely happy with my decision. I was easily 10-15 yds longer per club right away and was consistently straighter with the higher ball flight I needed. I've since taken one lesson from a teaching pro and I'm now getting even greater distance and consistency. I can't wait for spring to get back out there.
I probably could have bought a set off the rack and still improved, but I feel like the fitting truly optimized the set for my swing speed and overall needs.
