When I walked into the store we started out with no conversation like the website says would happen, we started with the putter fitting which was short lived since they did not have any left handed putters that would be good for me but then followed by saying my putter is horrible and the worst one for my game. He gave me options in right handed putters that I could order in a lefty but I didn’t want to do that since I couldn’t use them at all. After that we went on to irons where I got the most out of the fitting and honestly the only actual fitting part. He fit me into a shaft since I wanted to keep my heads. We moved on to wedges which was just a short conversation instead of me hitting anything because of course they didn’t have left handed ones. He was wanting me to get different grinds without really telling me why but I went with it so he added 3 new wedges with all new shafts to my order without me saying anything, I would like to say that it took 10 minutes and I didn’t hit a single shot. After that it was time for driver, I was super tired from swinging the other clubs so I didn’t hit the ball well but he still tried getting me all new stuff. I tried a variety of shafts that I didn’t feel a difference in and then he decided for me even though the numbers were not changing and my dispersion was still wack. He wanted me to try some driver heads so I did and even though the numbers were identical and my dispersion was still horrible he decided that it was the right one. So after a 400$ shaft and a 600$ head he thought he found my driver. I told him not to both because I was not swinging my driver good at the time and didn’t want a new one. Thought we would move on to my woods but he said he was out of time and tried to rush me out the door, he went over the price kind of fast like he didn’t want me to look and applied some discounts for me, one of which being 50% off the fitting since we didn’t do half of it. I told him no to the driver shaft and the wedges and then was left with 10 shafts for irons and wedges. My total even with all of the discounts was 1,250$ which is nuts for some regular brand shafts that I was fit into. Do not PURE your clubs it is a scam if you didn’t know that already, that was another 350$. So I felt horrible walking out of the store because I totally got scammed and towards the end my service was horrible. So I call them a day later and decide to cancel my PUREing since it is a big scam. We talked back and forth and he says he could give me 250$ back since one of my discounts wouldn’t work now. He later sends me an email that I didn’t expect and says that we can either keep my order which is something I thought was going to happen anyway, or we could cancel it and he could charge me 400$ for the bag fitting even though we agreed on half of because we only did irons and part of driver. I send 3 emails back to back to back telling him I will cancel my order and would be ok paying the amount we agreed on for the fitting. He emails back and says that he cancels my order and doesn’t say anything about price of fitting or any details about when I will be getting my clubs. As I am writing this I have still not heard back from him regarding getting my money back. Overall I feel like this store is a big scam and I looked online and found my whole set of shafts I bought for 300$ instead of 870$ like they were before, and that’s not including all the other stuff they do to them. I don’t recommend club champion and won’t go there again. Still waiting for my money back.
