I would not walk away from this company I would run! This is my second bad review in my lifetime. In my initial sign up I was on the phone with the sales rep at length, asking them thoroughly on what was covered and not covered. They clearly stated the drive train is covered. When my transmission went out they first claimed it was a maintenance issue so I sent them all of the maintenance records which were indisputable. Then they said I didn't have a commercial policy, even though I make the payment with a company credit card. After a few lengthy arguments with them and requesting the audio conversation (which they said they can not do) they agreed to run the claim again, at an additional charge of course. This time they said the issue was either from a factory defect, which they do NOT cover, or must be a bad solenoid from inside the transmission which is also NOT covered because it is an electrical part. Really!!, almost every problem can be traced back to an electrical part! If it wasn’t that, it would be 100 other things, that are NOT covered! They told me this is in my paperwork, which they never sent. Here is their scam; you sign up and pay with Car Shield, when you have a claim it goes through American Auto Shield (a completely separately company, according to them), this way when there is a problem, they can point the finger at each other. American Auto shield told me Car Shield was suppose to send me the paperwork and that was not their problem. I had 2 policies and they did not sent paperwork on either. Neither sales rep. asked me if the vehicles were for commercial use. Also, this entire process took about 4 weeks and every time I called I was on hold for 20-45 minutes. This company is such a joke that even if they did pay the claim, the process it not worth the hassle. Chris Berman, Dan Patrick, Steve Harvey, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and Michael Savage; you should all be ashamed of yourselves for backing this completely fraudulent company.
