Emergency call for no heat
I have been a customer of Calvert for many years and have usually been quite pleased with all of their work. I includes installing a heat pump and air handler in the middle of a heat wave and we didn’t have any air-conditioning. So I’ve come to use and expect a lot from this company that has always delivered. However; this past experience was less than the standards I’ve come to expect and appreciate from Calvert. Granted it was on Christmas Eve however I had a group of tenants moving into a property that my wife and I own and they weren’t able to stay there because there Was no heat. The representative appeared to be much more concerned about not providing service based upon comments he made such as alluding to the fact that I want to be able to be fixed. It was merely just exchanging out a circuit breaker and saying that nowhere was open. I called him out and said Lowe’s was open and he can get a circuit breaker there however he chose to go somewhere else I took a pretty good lengthy amount of time in a come back with would look like a used to refurbish circuit breaker and told me that it could still fail after he replaces it. He also made a comment that he would be much more happy had there been actually someone living in the house to actually get the heat. What he didn’t know is that the tenants are in the process of moving in and we’re staying there however couldn’t because there wasn’t any heat in the house. Finally, after returning to get the circuit breaker he reeked of cigarette smoke which really stunk up the house and I had to get air fresheners to freshen up the house upon him leaving. Overall really disappointed with the quality of service received and would prefer for the technician not to come out to my house again.
