Technician - five stars; scheduling and dispatch - one star
Routine kitchen ceiling light swap where I found an ugly mess of old wires. Called Wednesday, scheduled for Friday - told to call after 10a and the dispatcher will know the approximate time. Called - no clue. Called again after 12 and got the answering service, no return call. Called again @ 2:30, still no clue. Finally heard from the technician who said he'd be here @ 4:30. Showed on time but no tools, so extended to first appointment on Saturday. At 7:30 p.m., received call saying the technician would not be arriving first thing and no idea when he would arrive. Sparing the details, fortunately had the technician's number and dealt directly with him. He appeared exactly when he said he would and installed the light in a short time. Excellent work and a nice guy, too. If they straighten out their lousy dispatch system, based upon the great service received from the technician, Beacon would be highly recommended.
