I bought this house that the furnace had a leaking ball valve and someone put a hose on both drain valves to stop dripping so it rusted on that I suggested to put new hose ends to take calibrated measurements and if draining the line to see if that fixes the leaky valve.

He pointed out that the control was modified, required new drain valves and the damper was disconnected so he had to make it up to code so he would have to fix that also. I was just looking to stop the leak so I could save up for a new finance and fix all the fishy things then that were ignored during the previous times that the previous owner hired someone to inspect the furnace and made the modifications according to the log.

At least he notified me about gas detector alarms, took a serious look at it without just tiring to sell me a new system and explained what a horrible job the previous HVAC company and inspector did.

He did not email my wife back and record his work on the log.
