I don't use my central vacuum very often, but when the old one stopped working I called Advanced Homes. They told me the old system probably wasn't worth fixing and so they sold me a replacement. I thought it was expensive but I bought it. So, I spent a thousand dollars on a new central vacuum and I still don't use it that much. Advanced Homes did a good job with the installation. Their service is good. I recommend them.
