Advantage was called to service a water softener that was not operating properly. The tech came out, said the equipment was operating fine and left with no work being done. The $69 service call was paid that day. In less than one week, the softener flooded my basement so I called Advantage again (since I had just paid them to service the softener!). The tech came out and now said that the equipment should be replaced and he gave a quote of over $2400! In less than a week, it went from "fine" to needing to be replaced!! Then Advantage had the audacity to charge for that 2nd visit! Had they identified the problem the 1st time they came out (which is why there were hired -- they're the supposed experts), there wouldn't have ever been a need for a 2nd visit nor would I have spent countless hours cleaning up standing water in my basement. I would NEVER recommend Advantage Plumbing. They do not provide quality service and they want customers to pay for multiple visits because they can't seem to identify issues the first time they come out. Let's sum it up to say that their name is quite accurate "Advantage Plumbing" -- they want to take advantage.
