The first time we used Opie's One Hour Heating and Air was about a year ago when we had our furnace replaced. They were terrific answering the phone and for me and my age that is a big deal! They schedule the installation fairly quickly and had the new furnace installed in about a day.

Everyone that I dealt with was very friendly and informative. The installation went great and I was impressed with the respect and cleanliness that they are presented. Unfortunately for us that furnace had trouble non-stop! They had to replace nearly every part including the motherboard and a host of other things. They tried diligently to keep our unit running to no avail. The manufacturer finally had a recall of this particular furnace and Opie's was able to get it replaced with a new furnace, the same brand but new and improved. Again it took them only one day to replace it with the new one. The bad part was that we were without a furnace and hot water for about a week. It was a good thing that we had a fireplace in the basement and electric heaters throughout to keep the house warm enough to stay in. This furnace also provided hot water so we were without that as well.

We were very grateful that they worked so hard to get all of this taken care of for us! Our new furnace is working great and we have not been without heat or hot water since the replacement. I did recommend my son to Opie's One Hour Heating and Air who also had a new heat pump installed and he has been happy with his system as well.

I do like these people and I think they worked very hard to try and keep my heat and hot water going. It absolutely was not their fault that the furnace itself was one that would recalled! I do recommend them to anyone because they will work to try to get you the service that you ask for!
