dealership prices without the comforts
Nice people, clean lobby. Came in telling them what the problem was. I was given no estimate, but had been referred and was broken down out of state with 4 kids and not a lot of options. I was first told 255 and a couple hours to repair. Once they got it down and tested it a second time they said the water pump was also broken. It seems they should have known this already. Then they wanted another a 230. All in all it was about 70 in parts buy over 400 in labor for 4 hours work. My mechanic at home in CA where cost of living is double would only charge about half. On the bright side theygot us in right away, so I guess that's what you call emergency fees. I wish I would have called around before going into the mercy of whatever they decided because they knew we were in a big jam. The dealership at least has a kidsplay area, coffee, water bottles and a TV. Usually there are no surprises either and I find them to be just as fast.
