Good Job Spartan! You'll be the first call when water is an issue!
Spartan sent out an email notice before their assigned plumber arrived with the plumber’s photo and name they also called from their office estimating arrival his time. Professional idea - letting the homeowner know who and when to expect the plumber’s visit.
The first visit was to inspect and provide an estimate, listen to my questions and concerns then provide their solutions. After accepting their proposal, it was going to take longer than I had hoped to do the repairs. After explaining to Kandi (the office liaison) concerns about my shaky temporary plugs to the broken shower valve and how it could burst at any moment leaving us with all water shut off, she found a way to move the repair job to within three days instead of the following week.
The plumber (Justin) conducted himself professionally, he envisioned what was needed, answered questions and completed the job to our satisfaction. He had to cut a bigger hole to the shower wall to access the line connections; I was willing to accept an ugly looking “square” plate to cover the bigger hole just to have the valve fixed and the shower useful again. To my surprise when the job was done nothing was ugly about it; he picked a stylish oval shaped plate! Good job Spartan!
