I went into the Charlotte store for a driver fitting, my first ever club fitting. The experience was absolutely awesome with Matt, a very technical, knowledgeable and likable fitter. I’m a mid-single digit handicap in my mid-60’s and had experienced some distance loss due to my age and a 10 year old Titelist driver. So, on the advice of a friend in the golf business and a two time Club Champion customer, I signed up online for the driver fitting. After establishing a baseline with my old driver and hitting several different shaft and head combinations, Matt honed in on my optimal driver, which gave me an extra 15-20 yards on my longest and averaged drives into the simulator, so I purchased the new shaft/head/grip combination and can’t wait to pick it up and start using it on the course. This new driver will potentially change my game, as I’ll be back to near normal driving distance of my youth and, with the added distance, be hitting one to two clubs less into greens. I’d recommend Club Champion and Matt highly, as a proper fitting can truly be a game changer for golfers of any age, but especially those of us with age related distance loss.
