I just had my second experience getting fitted at Club Champion in Charlotte. Anyone who is serious about their golf game should go for a fitting and I'd recommend Bruce Raffe if you are anywhere near Charlotte. Professional, thorough, knowledgeable, asks the right questions and listens to your feedback in order to get the best equipment for you. I got a new putter about 8 months ago and my confidence on the greens has never been better. Yesterday we determined there was nothing substantially better for me than the equipment I already had in my bag but by reshafting I will be able to improve their performance, and in some cases, substantially so. Even when something else was slightly longer, the difference was basically minuscule. Bruce candidly told me unless I absolutely wanted something new, a one or two yard distance gain wouldn't justify the cost at this point. Imagine a salesperson saying something like that!
