Our heating went out on Wednesday 24th January. A technician came out on 25th to diagnose the issue and diagnose that a new motor was needed and that they would return ‘with the part’ on Friday or Saturday. Most of Friday passed and I hadn’t heard anything so I called to check and they ‘hadn’t ordered the part yet but would do so on Monday.’. Our entire heating system was out in temperatures of 15F.
I realize it may take a day or two to get a part, but it seems the part under their control (the time between diagnosis and placing the order) was extremely long especially as the customer is suffering freezing temperatures. It would have been nice for RW to ‘go the extra mile’ and order the part a lot sooner.
